About the LifeLines Hackathon '24

The LifeLines Hackathon '24 was a platform for those passionate about making a difference. This interdisciplinary hackathon welcomed University and High School (11-12) students from across Qatar to collaborate and innovate. Participants used their talents in teams of visionaries to address various challenges encountered in humanitarian crises.

Winners received fantastic prizes, and the most impactful projects had the opportunity to be showcased to special guests. It was more than a competition; it became a pathway to making a significant impact.

Crisis Management
Hacker
This role is the driving force behind the technical implementation. Hackers will take on the bulk of the programming aspect of your team's solution, providing a working proof of concept and bringing the team's ideas to life.
Crisis Management
Theme Specialist
Specialists guide their team with expert knowledge in their specific domain, conducting in-depth research to support the team's solution. They must effectively communicate the solution's value proposition convincingly.
